Today in class, students took half and apple and drew a picture of it. We measured the peel, the middle, and the core. Then, we discussed how the Earth has three layers (crust, mantle, and core). Students had to write three sentences to share with the class about how the apple is like the Earth. Students really enjoyed this activity, especially eating the apple. Thank you for sending those in!
